James Haskell says Chloe Madeley treats him 'like a dog' in candid admission

James Haskell complained wife Chloe Madeley treated him 'like a dog' or a 'baby' in a candid admission about their marriage.

The daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan recently issued a statement confirming she parted ways with James at the end of September, after being snapped without her wedding ring on her left hand over the past few weeks. James confessed he was feeling "a lot of sadness" as he shared the same statement with his fans shortly after Chloe

They made the decision to split weeks after wrapping filming for their show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair - which gave fans an insight into their explosive relationship. During the fourth and final episode of the series, which was focused on the lead-up to their daughter Bodhi's first birthday, tensions rose between the two.

Chloe and James were preparing to film their new podcast but Chloe was furious when she realised James didn't prepare anything for it. "You've done what you love to do, you've said 'Here's an idea that I really wanna do and I think it's going to be amazing' now the day is here, you've done absolutely no prep for it. I was up until 11.30 last night in bed writing treatments for the show."

Speaking to the camera, she added: "Classic. James has not prepared anything for the podcast he insisted we do so obviously it all falls down to me and I'm quite nervous about this now." Before filming the podcast, Chloe had to jump on a work call on Zoom but James kept speaking in the background.

"When I'm trying to work and James is just talking, talking, talking - I'm just like not now - I have two methods - shush him and just keep shushing him until he gets annoyed and then just ignore him," she added. James, equally as irritated, hit back: "You're just going to invade my space while I'm having breakfast. It's a bit like your own podcast, a bit all over the place, a bit scatty, not very interesting."

Chloe tries to shush him again before the camera cuts to her saying: "If James is contributing anything of value I wouldn't shush him but he's contributing s**t banter on a work call that isn't appropriate and he needs to pipe down!" When James finally had enough, he stormed out of the room.

"She shushes me like I'm a dog or like I'm a baby. I'm like 'shush me again and that's the last thing you'll ever do'," he fumed. Chloe believed the two struggle within their relationship as they "both think we're in charge."

"The relationships that I know are very calm and tranquil there's a dominant and there's a submissive," Chloe confessed. "James and I are both dominant so obviously it's like World War Three."
