Benidorm star Bel Powley marries Hollywood actor after two-year engagement
Benidorm star Bel Powley has married Hollywood actor Douglas Booth in a gorgeous ceremony in London.
The couple first announced their engagement in July 2021. Close friends and family of the couple took to social media to share glimpses of the gushing bride and groom at their romantic ceremony. Bel, 32, sported a princess dress with a fitted bodice while 30-year-old Douglas went for a classic blue suit.

Four years later, he dropped down on one knee to pop the question. He later shared a selfie of the two grinning with joy as Bel showed off her stunning engagement ring. Douglas captioned the post: "Very, VERY happy."

Bel also shared some snaps, including one of the pair sat at home with Douglas wearing a hat, jacket and white t-shirt and herself in a red floral mini-dress with a large white collar. The actress wrote a message acknowledging England's current success in UEFA Euros 2020, penning: "Football’s coming home…and so is my husband [football emojis, black flag emojis, ring emojis, football emojis, black flag emojis]".
A few famous faces rushed to the comment section to congratulate the duo. Black Widow star Florence Pugh penned on Bel's post: "Ahhhhh!!!! Congratulations chicken!! Amazing news. X". Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon wrote on Bel's post: "WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!"
Elsewhere, Glee alum Dianna Agron commented: "Love love love [red heart emoji]". The Crown actor Josh O'Connor posted red-heart emojis on both of their posts. Meanwhile, Peaky Blinder actor Sam Claflin wrote on Douglas' post: "YOU GUYS [heart-eyes emoji, red heart emoji] No freakin’ way."
Bel is best known for playing Bianca Dyke in Benidorm. The Dyke family are from Watford and are recognisable from their Cockney accents. Other than the programme, she starred in a few Holly movies.
She was in The King Of Staten Island with comedian Pete Davidson, Mary Shelley with Elle Fanning and her husband Douglas and White Boy Rick with Matthew McConaughey. She also starred in Jennifer Aniston-fronted series The Morning Show, Wildling and Cold Copy.
