Chloe Madeley 'taking James Haskell split very hard' after first public sighting
Chloe Madeley has been spotted looking rather downbeat in the first snap to emerge of 36-year old since she revealed her split from husband, James Haskell.
Body language expert Judi James has spotted signs Chloe is "taking the split extremely hard, to the point of looking devastated" after the mum-of-one was pictured running errands in the wake of making the news of her separation from public weeks on from the pair actually splitting.
The two stars shared the news that their five-year marriage had come to an end on Saturday following weeks of speculation. Chloe and James are currently the subject of a four-part ITV reality series documenting their lives in the wake of the birth of their daughter, Bodhi.

And only fuelling speculation further, 38-year old James was seen whispering in the ear of a blonde PR boss Maxine Bridge outside a swanky London club on a night out.
On Saturday a sombre-looking Chloe was seen dressed in all black - complete with her hood up - as she appeared to make her way to a workout session. The daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan was carrying a backpack, earphones and a cold drink after stepping out of her vehicle.

After analysing the snaps, meanwhile, body language expert, Judi James told the Mirror: "With her head held down Chloe throws up at least three signals of a desire to hide here and her overall demeanour suggests she is taking the split extremely hard, to the point of looking devastated.

Chloe broke the news of the split shortly before her husband James on Saturday (CLICK NEWS AND MEDIA)"She’s pulled her hood over her head to the point where she’s just peering out and her lip clamp gesture with her mouth signals she has no desire to communicate or even hint at some sort of bravado. She appears to have her car lock in her hand too, as though trying to get away as quickly as possible."
Judi continued: "The only 'on brand' gesture here from the normally camera-confident Chloe is the way her long hair is still immaculately tumbling over one shoulder, suggesting the desire to look as stunning as usual is still there. She’s been seen in outings without her ring recently but this is the first appearance where her facial expression seems to suggest the current depth of her feelings."
It comes after the former couple released a joint statement confirming they had gone their separate ways. The statement, first shared by Chloe, reads: "James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand. Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."

It's thought Chloe is staying with her parents following the split (CLICK NEWS AND MEDIA)James later shared the post to his Instagram account, adding: "It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done. My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further."
Chloe recently admitted that James' DJ career was a source of resentment in their marriage, saying she was "seething" when he booked a gig with Carl Cox on her due date. James has defended himself, saying: "My wife thinks DJing in Ibiza is a holiday – it's work. We've had a few arguments about it. I mean she's very supportive but kind of extending your trip for a few extra days is probably taking the p**s a little bit."
Earlier this month, James was spotted without his wedding ring on - just days after Chloe was seen without her wedding band on a girls night out. It came just days on from James, 38, being snapped mystery blonde woman on a night out at the celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse. The identity of the blonde woman was later reported to be Martine Bridge, a PR executive who James is said to have known for years.
James and Chloe tied the know in 2018 and welcomed daughter Bodhi into the world in August 2022. "We are delighted to welcome to the world our daughter. We are utterly besotted and beaming with pride," Chloe told fans as she introduced her newborn online last year. "Our baby girl was born Wednesday morning, 10/08/22, 8.36am."
