Britney Spears hint second book will be released soon after bombshell memoir

Britney Spears told fans she is not done with her author era in a new post.

Alongside a comical video of a man using an oversized mallet to play in a classical band, Britney gave fans hope that a new book will be on its way. She wrote: "Humor is the cure to everything !!! Play on !!! Volume 2 will be released next year … get ready !!!"

Her latest memoir told the story of her life including her rise to fame and subsequent conservatorship. It also called out and exposed some people who were close to her during that time including ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and her own father Jamie Spears.

The memoir, Woman In Me, came out just a few days ago but reached incredible success and bestseller status nearly immediately. After all, it opened up Britney's world to the general public and stirred up some controversy. In the book, the pop star accused her father of being 'in it for the money' and taking advantage of her status for his own gain. She described the ways in which he and others benefited from her conservatorship.

Moreover, Britney opened up about a pregnancy with Justin which resulted in an abortion since the boy bander didn't want to be a father. She also made the accusation that he would use a blaccent around Black musicians and that his band wanted to differentiate themselves from other boybands of the time by being 'hood.' Britney wrote: "NSYNC hung out with Black artists. Sometimes I thought they tried too hard to fit in."

It's unclear right now what her next book might be about. Considering fans have had an overwhelmingly positive reaction to her first, the support for the second will likely match the hype. One fan wrote on Twitter: "Love Britney’s book, but I need her to write another one that’s just about the process behind each album (at least up until blackout)."

Another said: "If she decides to write another book one day, I am all for it. I so enjoyed her style of writing. I love her so deeply, and can honestly say this book has reminded me why I fell in love with her in the first place. Not the artist, not the performer, just Britney."
