TV star drops £800,000 from helicopter over large crowd in social media stunt
Crowds of people couldn't believe their eyes when around $1million (£825,925) was dropped from a helicopter in a bizarre viral stunt.
Carrying out the crazy stunt in the Czech Republic, local star Kamil Bartošek divided public opinion after dumping the cash for his viral social media stunt. Reports suggest he'd first launched a competition to win the life-changing money.
It is thought his initial competition, in which only one person would win, was proving to be too tricky, so Kamil decided to let lots of people win instead. He launched an email campaign telling people where to meet, per Spanish outlet La Vanguardia.
Footage on his YouTube channel shows Kamil packing the cash into bags before loading them into the chopper, ready to be chucked out. The notes were placed in a large metal storage container so they could be lifted over the crowds.

Local news is reporting that the bills had special QR codes attached so anyone collecting money could scan and donate any amount they wish to a charity. However, the stunt has sparked criticism, with some saying it was a "total disappointment".
"This is a total disappointment, I think there are a lot of people who really need the money," wrote someone on social media. While another added: "One can't fly over the city with a small drone, but is it okay with an iron container over people?"
After attracting thousands of views online, some did jump to Kamil's defence, with one calling him a "generous celebrity". Another joked: "I wish someone would do that over my house." While a third said: "Lucky he didn't decide to use coins."
