MAFS UK's JJ furiously slams cruel transphobic trolls targeting Ella
Married At First Sight UK's JJ Slater hit back at cruel transphobic trolls after Ella Morgan was cruelly targeted following their budding romance on the show.
The E4 star entered the show paired with bride Bianca Petronzi as an intruder couple. JJ and Ella have caused a stir on the show after realising their romantic feelings for one another – despite being matched with other people. The fallout has seen the pair's original marriages fall apart and they crashed out of the show earlier this week. But, a return for JJ and Ella could be on the cards as it was teased in last night's episode.
Ella made history as the reality show's first transgender contestant and has quickly become one of its most talked-about brides. During a recent TikTok live, JJ was receiving backlash over his budding romance with Ella on the show as he hit back at transphobic comments.

I don't know how many times I have to say that. The thing is everyone in the experiment saw Ella as a woman and a girl because that's what she is." JJ was joined by his controversial co-star Luke Worley, who is also set to be booted off the show over an alleged fight with Jordan Gayle.
He also slammed the comments, adding: "Ella to me is a woman. I had never been around someone trans so I had to personally be educated. I look at trans people totally different now. I had to have this conversation with Ella because I needed to be educated as well. Speak to your friends about it in your group chat or privately, not on a comment or a post. Speak about it privately if you want to have a rant. I think people forget they think we're just characters, we aren't."

It comes after Ella thanked fans for their "love and understanding" – revealing a TOWIE star has reached out to her – after receiving a barrage of cruel transphobic abuse on social media. She only recently quit Instagram after receiving so much backlash.
Ella was defended by co-star JJ during a recent TikTok live (E4)Addressing her 100,000 followers over the weekend, Morgan thanked a popular TOWIE star Junaid Ahmed for their support amid the cruel hate comments. Filming her sweet gift from Junaid, Ella showed fans a bright bouquet of flowers in a video posted to her Instagram story.
"I'm not perfect in any way," she wrote alongside the post. "We all make mistakes, but I don't warrant receiving the transphobic abuse that I have. My transition has nothing to do with anything. Thank you for everyone for the supportive messages, love and understanding. Thank you @junaidahmed."
Ella signed up for MAFS to find the man of her dreams with whom she could start a family, but her journey took an unexpected twist when she fell for another man outside of her arranged marriage to Nathaniel Valentino. After explosive scenes saw her and JJ's connection exposed last week, Ella took a break from social media.
"I'm going to be taking a break from my socials as it's hard seeing/reading the constant abuse I've received recently, especially the transphobic abuse," she wrote on a post to her Instagram Stories on last week. "By condemning me with hate messages isn't always the right answer, and two wrongs don't make a right."
