Juliana Rocha has died

Juliana Rocha, a popular social media star, has suddenly died at the age of 25.

The Instagram influencer's heartbroken family announced her death on Monday after she had vanished from social media for two months. Her cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Sharing a post on Juliana's Instagram Story on Monday, her family said: "It is with deep sorrow and sadness that Juliana Rocha's family informs you, her audience and those who liked her, that she has passed away." Juliana's funeral was then held on Tuesday for family and friends.

Juliana was hugely popular on social media and she had amassed almost 200,000 followers on Instagram. Over on TikTok, she had more than 250,000 followers who would watch her makeup tutorials.

Fans had been wondering for weeks what had happened to the star, after she seemed to have vanished from social media. She last posed on Instagram on August 24, while her last TikTok video was uploaded on August 15.

The Pink 21 Cosméticos label shared a sweet tribute to Juliana. They had previously collaborated with her on a video. "We were very saddened by the news, Ju was an incredible partner, extremely dedicated and talented. We convey to family and colleagues our feelings and prayers at this time," they said.

Juliana's friend Priscila Paulo has also spoken out about her friend's death and admitted she's in shock. "I can’t believe you’re gone, but wherever you are, you’ll be in a good place. Rest in peace, Ju. You will always be remembered," she wrote on social media.

Fans have also been paying tribute to Juliana online. "OMG! Juliana Rocha's profile has just announced that the influencer has died. My condolences to family and friends," one person posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another person wrote: "I can't believe Juliana Rocha died, I loved watching her videos," while a third agreed: "I still can't believe that Juliana Rocha died, my God I loved her so much, may she rest in peace." Another fan said: "Sad news about the death of Juliana Rocha, a talented makeup influencer. His unexpected departure reminds us that life is fragile and we must value every moment. Her legacy and creativity will live on in the world of makeup."
