Dog seized by police in attack left schoolboy, 12, with life changing injuries
This is the moment an "out of control" dog which savaged a schoolboy was seized by police in riot gear.
Mohid Gardazee, 12, had been riding his bike yards from his home when the "pitbull or XL bully type" animal latched onto his arm causing life changing injuries. Residents in the neighbourhood in Oldham, Manchester, told the Mirror how they are living in fear, too terrified to leave their homes after the attack on Sunday morning.
One mum said: "I heard the screams and thought it was kids playing on the street because it's half term, but then I heard my husband running to the door saying a child had been attacked by a dog. I wouldn't leave the house I was so scared, I won't let my children go outside anymore. The dog is huge, it looks like a pitbull or a Bully, but it's out of control."

He told the Mirror: "When I first came out I thought a child had been jumped. People were hitting the dog and ripping wooden boards from houses to try and stop it. The mum was screaming and crying saying please help my child."
In a video taken by Hasbeeb's sister, the animal can be seen cornered in a terraced back garden, while three armed officers carefully loop a catchpole around its neck. Another clip shows the commotion as screaming residents desperately tried to do everything they could to help him, before the dog turned on a 31-year-old woman and caused injuries to her chest.

Haseeb estimated Mohid was under attack for around 20 minutes before he was freed from the dog. To separate him from any further injury, quick thinking neighbour, Dante Dobrin, 49, dragged injured Mohid into his own home. Dante said he started dressing the boy's arm with a bandage while they waited for the police and paramedics to arrive.
He told the Mirror: "The boy was screaming and crying saying 'I'm going to die'. His parents came, when his mum saw his injuries she fainted." Dante's own 13-year-old daughter was so scared she locked herself in her room upstairs.
