Big Brother's condom warning to housemates as evictee Zak shares unseen scenes

"This is Big Brother. Please can you stop wasting condoms."

That was the reprimand producers gave the Big Brother housemates, when the omniscient presence was forced to intervene to tick them off for wasting 100 of them on an impromptu party. Friday’s evictee Zak admits he is relieved a lot of their high jinx weren’t shown on the nightly highlights packages.

He cringes: "There were a lot of silly things in the house. We’d playfight, play with tampons and have condoms on our heads. We were trying to use them as balloons for Jordan’s birthday. After we put about 10 of them on our heads... I think at first they had a giggle, but we must have opened 100 packs, after half an hour they were like, enough now."

Zak became the second housemate to get the boot on Friday night (ITV)

Zak, 28, believes producers are considering the wellbeing of the housemates by not showing their naughty antics. "There were a lot of things I’ve done in there that I’m grateful weren’t shown," says the model, sheepishly. What a nice Big Brother he is.

Speaking on the ITV2 show on Friday night, Zak said of his eviction: "It was a bit nerve-racking but at the same time I was like: 'You know what'. Not that I expected it, I was happy I had people [the audience] cheering!" He went on to tease his next TV project, saying: "I had a good time, it's one of those experiences you'll never get to experience again. So I thought: 'I'll go for it!', the next one I really want to do is I'm A Celeb... if you're listening!" To which host, Will Best, quipped: "He's plugging, he's plugging already!"
