Boots slash price of 'amazing' anti-ageing cream hailed as 'luxury in a pot'

Choosing the right moisturiser for your skincare regime can be tricky, with many of us spending years trying to find one that really makes a difference. One face cream from Olay has been majorly slashed in price at Boots, saving shoppers a whopping 50% off.

The Olay Regenerist Luminous Anti-Ageing Skin Tone Perfecting Moisturiser, which usually costs £34, is down to just £17 on the Boots website. This top-rated product claims to intensively hydrate and exfoliate, to leave the skin looking more youthful, even and smoother.

The face cream promises more luminous skin in eight weeks, and hundreds of Boots shoppers have raved about their results online.

Fans of the Olay cream claim it has not only helped improve the look of their complexion, but also helped prep their skin for makeup.

One five-star reviewer said: "I really like this cream. I'm 67 and, let's face it, even major surgery isn't going to make me look 25 again, but this cream does seem to even my skin tone and give it a bit of brightness. Lovely texture, absorbs well and gives skin a good prep for make up."

Another shopper raved: "Really like this product. Leaves a lovely glow on the skin."

A third hailed the moisturiser as "luxury in a pot" after trying it. The customer also added: "Lovely silky smooth texture with a delicious peachy fragrance. Absorbed so easily and left my skin feeling smooth with no greasiness."

But some reviewers weren't completely pleased with the Olay product. One pointed out that the cream is "not moisturising enough," while a second said it "leaves a white residue".
