Meghan Markle used to run a blog before marrying into the Royal Family

An unearthed blog post has revealed that Meghan Markle hinted at her UK plans many years before marrying Prince Harry.

Before Meghan fell in love with her now-husband Prince Harry, the Duchess was an actress in hit series Suits and also ran a website called The Tig. Meghan's blog saw the then-actress share various posts about fashion, beauty and lifestyle, with many tips for her readers to incorporate into their daily lives.

And now in an unearthed post from 2014, Meghan seemingly hinted at her love of the United Kingdom when she spoke of her "love of all things Brit" in a recipe for a quintessentially British drink. Renaming the iconic Pimm's Number One Cup to the TIG Cup, Meghan talked her readers through the delicious drink.

Writing for her blog nine years ago, Meghan penned: "While I generally opt to wet my whistle with a glass of rosé or crisp Sauvignon Blanc, sometimes the day calls for a cocktail. Cue The TIG Cup."

She then hinted at her love for British things when she said: "Having a love of all things Brit, I wanted to do a twist on their signature Pimm’s Cup. This is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, and a nod to the fresh-picked flavors of the season. Cheers!"

And with the unearthed post shared by the Meghan's Closet Chronicles account on Instagram, fans have been quick to react to Meghan's manifestation. One person penned: "How meant to be were/are they.... I am dying here, the signs were always there!!!".

A second person then added: "It was the first thing I noticed, 'all things Brit'".

Meghan met Prince Harry in early July 2016, according to reports. The couple first connected on a blind date, with them soon becoming totally smitten with each other.

The couple then became engaged in November 2017, with their wedding taking place in May 2018. They then decided to step down as senior working Royals in early 2020, before moving to America in the summer of that year. They share two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
