Eagle-eyed Strictly Come Dancing viewers are hyper-aware of the undeniable chemistry that lies in Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell's friendship, and it appears they don't miss a beat when watching the pair together on TV.

The dancing duo have won the hearts of the nation with their beautiful bond and continue to garner more fans every week they show off their amazing dance skills in the hopes of winning the coveted Glitterball Trophy for the 2023 series. Appearing on Wednesday's instalment of It Takes Two, EastEnders actor Bobby, 20, and professional dancer Dianne, 34, opened up about how they're feeling another performance approaches on Saturday – and Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater on the BBC One soap – finally addressed why he seemed 'off' after last weekend's dance but fans also noticed a sweet detail about the soap star and Dianne.

Eagle-eyed BBC viewers immediately noticed the pair had swapped shoes before sitting down to speak to It Takes Two host Janette Manrara. While Dianne was seen wearing Bobby's stylish loafers, the EastEnders star donned her Birkenstocks – and it didn't go unnoticed by viewers, who took to Instagram to screenshot the sweet moment.

Later, Bobby and Dianne admitted that they had swapped shoes as they took to their respective Instagram stories to re-share a post from a fan who spotted the dancing duo's antics. The fan wrote on top the image of Bobby and Dianne wearing one another's shoes: "these two swapping shoes" followed by a trio of laughing emojis. Dianne re-shared the image and added: "We are silly".

Strictly's official Instagram also posted a cheeky video of the pair donning one another's footwear as each of them pulled up their trousers to show off the shoes.

During Saturday's show, Bobby left viewers concerned as he appeared downcast with many commenting "something's not right" as he took to the dance floor with pro Dianne sporting a red suit, tangoing to David Bowie's Fashion. However, after a mixed reception from the judges in which Motsi Mabuse said the couple had "lost the entertainment factor", fans were concerned.

When asked by host Claudia Winkleman how he was feeling after the performance, Bobby admitted: "It's been emotional. So, so emotional. All week. But closing the show is a great privilege." To which Dianne added: "It was really difficult. I pushed you [Bobby] musically. That song is not easy to hear and you worked so hard to be able to hear the music." She added: "But he's just been a massive rock this week so thank you," before embracing her celebrity dance partner while fighting back tears.

On Wednesday's Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, host Janette Manrara asked Bobby: "You looked a little bit deflated though, after you got the judge's comments, why is that? What was going through your head?" To which Bobby agreed, adding: "Yeah, I was proper [deflated].

"I think it had less to do with the judges' comments. I was actually quite happy with the judges' comments. Strictly is a journey and I think I was just very tired and glad to have done the Tango and put that all behind me." The dancing duo shared their excitement for their new dance on Saturday, where they will perform a Viennese Waltz to Golden Hour by JVKE.

The remaining twelve couples will take to the dance floor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 21 October at 6.35pm, with the results show on Sunday 22 October at 7:15pm on BBC One.
