DC Young Fly's sister dies months after partner Jacky in latest family tragedy
DC Young Fly has said that his sister has died just months after his partner Jacky Oh passed away, suggesting that it's the latest tragedy to affect his family within a year.
The comedian, 31 - who hosts VH1's Celebrity Squares, which launched this week in the US - opened up about his loss in a post on Instagram recently. He's been met with supportive messages from his followers over the post.
He wrote in the post: "In a matter of a year I lost 3 people. My Kuzzin on last August, my girl in May and my sister a couple days ago. [You] jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u and he will grant you the strength."

The post has amassed more than 500,000 likes since it was uploaded onto the platform just a few days ago. It prompted messages of condolence from some of his followers, who reacted to the post in the comments section recently.
This included singer Keri Hilson. The actor - who appeared alongside him in the film For the Love of Money (2021) - wrote: "So sorry to hear DC. Sending love & healing to you. I know you're strong but I'll continue covering you in prayer."

It comes following the news in June that DC Young Fly's partner Jacky Oh had died, aged 32. They had appeared on the show Wild N' Out together and welcomed three children during their relationship. She was celebrated in a funeral service that was held shortly after her passing.
Paying tribute at the time, DC Young Fly wrote on social media: "You are the greatest mother I know. Your soul was beautiful. You always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other. [...] Will always tell our kids how much [of] an amazing person you were."
