Coleen Rooney has expressed her money fears over £1.8million Rebekah Vardy payout.

The mum-of-four has talked about her frustration of losing out on money following the Wagatha Christie trial. The 37-year-old was sued by Rebekah for libel but went on to win the case, with a judge ruling in her favour.

This meant Coleen should be reimbursed for her legal bills, which have been claimed to be £1.8million. However, Rebekah has slammed the "inflated" amount, which allegedly includes fancy hotel stays and restaurant visits.

Coleen opens up about the whole ordeal in her new Disney+ documentary, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, when she says: "It was a pathetic reason to go to court, I wish we could've settled it. The money was absolutely ridiculous and I might not get all my money back."

Rebekah's legal bills are said to be £4million on their own so with an order to pay Coleen's too, she faces up to £6 million in legal fees. The Sun reported that a source said Rebekah was left "furious after seeing Coleen's bill". They said she will pay what she "rightfully owes" but thinks she is "pushing her luck by asking for almost £2million".

The court case came after Coleen posted to her social media that someone from her private Instagram page had been selling stories about her to the press. She went on to reveal that, after conducting an investigation, she believed Rebekah Vardy's Instagram account was behind the leaks.

Rebekah sued Coleen for libel, denying she was selling stories, but lost the case in July last year when Coleen's post was found to be "substantially true" by a judge. After winning the case, Coleen said in her docu-series: "For me getting justice for telling the truth is the most important thing. I can now focus on everything that's important to me."

She then went on to talk about what she thought of Rebekah, saying "we all make mistakes". She added: "We all make mistakes in life and when someone holds their hands up and says 'I've done wrong' you can forgive and you can move on. But she's still denying and saying it wasn't her so it makes it a hard thing to do."
