Britney Spears had abortion as Justin Timberlake said they were 'too young'
Britney Spears has revealed that she fell pregnant with Justin Timberlake's child, but decided to have an abortion as he thought they were "too young" to have a baby.
The pop superstar speaks about the difficult time in her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, in which she lifts the lid on her highly publicised life. In extracts of the book seen by People Magazine, Britney writes that her then-boyfriend "wasn't happy" when she told him she was pregnant. She claims he said they weren't ready to be parents, which led to her ending the pregnancy.

The Mirror has reached out to Justin's representative but they did not immediately respond.

Britney and Justin started dating when they were 17 and 18 back in 1999. They remained a couple until 2002. Also in the book she pens: "I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."
She added: "To this day, it’s one of the most agonising things I have ever experienced in my life."
The new revelation comes after we reported that the *NSYNC star is reportedly "nervous" as he awaits the release of Britney's tell-all memoir. Sources have revealed that "major tea" could be shared about Justin, which has left him a little worried.

They said: "There is some major tea regarding Justin Timberlake that may be shared in her book that happened during their relationship. She may or may not have published it, but if she did, it will definitely paint him a light that isn't so favourable ... again."
The source also told US gossip site Deux Moi that the revelations would be "worse" than the previous claims. Meanwhile, other insiders have claimed the Toxic hitmaker goes after Justin "hard" in her memoir.
The former power couple met for the first time when they were only 12 years old back in 1992. Britney and Justin were cast members on the All-New Mickey Mouse Club, with Justin later admitting that he was "in love with her from the start" and "infatuated with her" from the moment he saw her.
In 1999 the couple went public with their romance, with them making their red carpet debut in 2001. And in that same year, they also performed at the Super Bowl XXV halftime show together.
But the couple's romance was short-lived and they parted ways in 2002. Shortly after their split, Justin released his hit Cry Me a River, which had a music video that featured a female actor who looked a little like his ex.
