Jamie Oliver's daughter leaves mum Jools emotional as she leaves family home

Jools Oliver is all emotional as her and Jamie Oliver's eldest daughter Poppy heads off travelling and leaves the family home.

The parents-of-five waved off their 21-year-old daughter at the airport as she embarks on an adventure with her boyfriend Ben. Jools took to her Instagram page to share a special post including a sweet photo hugging each other. Poppy is heading across the world after graduating from Leeds University in July with a degree in English and Creative Writing.

Jools said: "Oh my word well that was SO hard another milestone of parenting that I am not that into! Have the time of your life little pops we are so proud of you and Ben make the most of every single minute and have the adventure of a lifetime. It goes without saying that each and everyone one of us are going to miss you so deeply.

The emotional mother went on to add: "I have lost my little school run/coffee mates now you and Dase have both almost flown the nest just be safe and happy and look after each other xxx it goes without saying that I am counting down the days till you come home LOVE YOU xxxx"

Friends and fans took to the comments to wish Poppy safe travels as well as supporting Jools. One said: "I’m feeling you so much my eldest has gone sending so much love." A second wrote: "Oh Jules that must be so hard. I hope they have the best adventure xxx," as a third added: "My coops has just landed in Australia. Totally understand how you feel. Wishing them the best adventures, the best memories."

"Always your babies, always waiting for them to come home & make us whole again but always wanting them to have the most fantastic adventures & experiences & be safe," another wrote. A fifth commented: "Know this feeling too well but at least you still have a few little ones at home with you."

Jools and Jamie have five kids together, Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo, 20, Petal Blossom, 14, Buddy Bear, 13 and River Rocket, six. The couple recently celebrated being married for 23 years after first getting together when they were just 18. They renewed their vows in April on the beach in the Maldives along with their five children.
