James Haskell had to completely change his ways after seeing women as "sex objects".

The former Wasps RFC flanker spent years "objectifying" women having grown up in a boarding school before his career in a male-dominated industry. His comments come after he denied any wrongdoing after he was seen chatting to a mystery woman during a night out in London over the weekend.

His wife, Chloe Madeley also stepped out after hiding her wedding ring in a series of snaps over the weekend hours after James, 38, had been seen with the mystery blonde woman outside the swanky Chiltern Firehouse in London in the early hours.

Speaking on the Unfiltered podcast, James admitted his relationship with women has changed over the course of his life. He said: "I went to an all-boys prep school, all-boys boarding school and was around 25 men every year for 19 and a half seasons. I didn't go to university. Would you say I was probably the most broad-minded person in that respect? No, I think there's a reason why sexism is probably as bad as it is because of all boys boarding schools."

The dad-of-one continued: "Truthfully, I think what other exposures do you have to women other than as sex objects? You may have female teachers and a strong mother, but otherwise how you're not exposed to in any other way, shape, or form." But James' experience has helped shape him into the dad he is today as he admits he would never send his daughter Bohdi to a same-sex school.

However, the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmate admits he wouldn't change his own experience as it helped him perfect become who he is today and enabled him to grab various opportunities. He went on to tell the podcast: "You asked me about my view on women, have I had to learn and unwind a lot of things? Yeah, of course. As long as you keep learning. I think that's why I find it so stupid with all these people going back trying to correct history, trying to go history's history for a reason.

"As long as you learn from it today, you're not doing the same thing. You can't go back and go again. It's contextual to me." But James also said he believes men are "lost". His comments come hours after a source explained that he and Chloe have fiery arguments but their relationship is stronger than ever.

Speaking to new! magazine, a source said: "Although they have explosive rows, Chloe and James really are stronger than ever. James is very much larger than life and says things without thinking. He's got a very loud voice too. They're both strong characters who will inevitably clash, but equally, they know that's why people are invested in them as a couple."
