Strictly pro's 'face says it all' after 'brutal' feedback on 'dance disaster'
Strictly Come Dancing fans spotted an awkward moment on Saturday night as one professional dancer appeared unimpressed at the judges' "brutal" feedback.
During the latest episode, Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer, who has has split from her husband Jordan Wyn-Jones, performed an American Smooth to Sex Bomb by Tom Jones. However, head judge Shirley Ballas wasn't impressed as she admitted "anything in hold" was "a bit of a dance disaster", prompting boos from the audience. Shirley added: "Hold on a minute, this young man has to learn because he's a bit of a star!" She added: "You don't want me to sit here going: 'That was amazing when it wasn't', you want honesty!"
Fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood added: "Well, the freestyle was magnificent actually... I'm with Shirley, a complete dance disaster in hold, sorry!" Professional dancer, Karen, appeared to be unimpressed by the feedback with her facial expression not going unnoticed by viewers at home. Taking to social media, one person said: "Karen’s face says it all #Strictly" with an awkward emoji, a different account put: "Karen can't hide her angry face! #Strictly", another put: "#Strictly Karen did not look impressed tonight!" while a different fan added: "Brutal from Shirley there… maybe just a 9 then #strictly!" The duo scored 24 from the judges.

The professional dancer, 33, was paired with BBC Asian Network radio star Nikita, 28, in this series, after reaching the final in 2022 with Helen Skelton. The pair performed a jive for movie week themed around Clueless, but their performance did not impress the judges, earning them just 21 out of a possible 40 points, including a low score of 4 from Craig Revel Horwood.
The duo found themselves in the dance-off with Graziano Di Prima and Zara McDermott with former Love Island star Zara, 26, and Graziano being unanimously saved by the judges. The first celebrity to leave the series was Les Dennis after his Samba to Rock The Boat by Hues Corporation with pro partner Nancy Xu failed to impress the judges. Reflecting on his exit, Les, 70, told host Tess Daly: "I've had the best time, this lady [Nancy] has been amazing, a great teacher, she's really put me through my paces."
