There are many traits that you'd prefer a potential partner to have. You'll perhaps want them to be kind, hard-working, generous with their time, and funny - and there are some qualities that you'll value more than others. But one woman has caused uproar after admitting that on a first date, she asks to see the person's bank account so she isn't wasting her time.

Sofia Franklyn posted a snippet from her podcast on her TikTok account with the caption: "I think I'm just being efficient?" But others were not impressed with her admission, with some asking harsh questions like: "So if you don't make as much as him, does he have a right to walk away because you are beneath him?"

In the podcast, Sofia said: "I'm not joking, I've asked the last three dudes I've dated for their bank account info on the first date." And when she was asked why, she responded: "Because I only want to date a wealthy guy that has money."

"I think, you know, I have a job, I'm very successful. So I think I have every f**king right to be like, hi, are we on the same level or am I wasting my time?", Sofia admitted.

In the comments, many people were less than impressed, with one fuming: "Podcast equipment needs to be less accessible." Another said: "Even if I had 100 mil, if someone asked me that I'd be gone within five seconds." "She seems like a fun date", one man sarcastically jibed.

"CEO of Deluluville", a TikToker joked, criticising her materialistic outlook. "She said that with so much confidence like she thought everyone was gonna agree", another pointed out, but the comments section was full of people questioning her motives, with one man writing: "This comment section did not disappoint. Proud of y'all."
