Big Brother house erupts into another furious row ahead of first eviction
Another furious row is set to erupt on Friday night's Big Brother as tensions rise ahead of the first eviction.
Housemates have nominated one another for eviction and those with the most nominations will face the public vote. Make-up artist Farida, 50, from Wolverhampton and NHS Manager Kerry, 40, from Essex both got the most votes and will be battling to stay in the house during the first public vote of the series. Kerry received five nominations, whilst Farida received eight nominations.
Both Kerry and Farida have clashed over the past week and tensions are set to overflow on Friday's episode. Upon learning her fate, Farida became suspicious that the two oldest housemates found themselves up for eviction. She told Kerry: “All the youngsters stuck together and they got out the oldest people." Her comment made Olivia laugh, and that only made things worse.

Jenkin suspected Kerry was not handling the news as cooly as she appeared, telling Big Brother: “I reckon, it’s gonna brew and the more that Kerry is saying she’s not bothered it’s going to sort of start to seem like she is… which might wind up Farida. It’s like the battle of the titans isn’t it, the two maternal figures.”

Now the housemates have made their choices, who goes - the public decides. Farida and Kerry clashed on Thursday, when the make-up artist faced backlash for "reinforcing stereotypes" in her chat about Kerry. Farida branded her housemate "lazy" for not participating in kitchen chores when opening up in the Diary Room. Kerry has multiple sclerosis (MS) which affects mobility. Elsewhere on the episode the pair clashed again when Farida opened up about her career as a makeup expert.
She proudly told Kelly about her achievements as an online makeup advisor and how she helps other women perfect makeup. But Kerry, far from being impressed, was blunt with her fellow housemate and undermined her achievements. When Farida mentioned that as many as 300,000 or 400,000 people watched one of her tutorials online, Kerry responded in disbelief, saying: "That watch you?"
Looking a little taken aback, Farida then said: "Yeah! My video all go viral. I’ve got like 300, 400,000 views just on one video" - to which Kerry then replied very a lacklustre “wow”. Farida continued, saying: "And when I livestream, if I live-streamed every day, trust me, I have had 400 followers in just 15 or 20 minutes while I’ve live-streamed." Kerry dismissed the information and claimed "It’s a different world" - while Farida concurred and said: "It is."
Farida has also clashed with Olivia following a task of cosplaying as office workers - with top tier, middle management and bottom worker teams. And after the housemates were told they had succeeded in the task, Olivia floated the idea that the bottom workers should be allowed to decide the following shopping list. Farida, 50, however objected to the plan and argued it would be more fair for the entire house to decide the shopping list together.
She also highlighted the fact she would needed specific items herself as she follows a halal diet. However, the house quickly descended into loud bickering and arguments. Olivia kicked off the dispute, saying: “Can I also make a point and it might be controversial? Shout out at me if you want. I do feel like the people who were on the bottom should have top priority over that kind of situation. Feel free to disagree but a lot of the bottoms feel the same way and some of the Middles feel the same way.”
Farida, who herself had worked as one of the bottom workers, objected and said: “I disagree because to be honest, if I had to do their job what they did that would have been a nightmare for me - the Big Wigs.” Olivia replies: “What? Eating like a king? Aye, that would be f*****g difficult wouldn' it?” The evolving argument looked to be too much for 40-year-old Kerry who walked off with her head in her hands saying: “Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no.”
