A moment when Meghan Markle appeared to defy the rules around royal etiquette has been caught on camera and shared on social media as it goes viral.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared whilst attending an event in 2019 to open and close her own car door, seemingly shunning the 'royal protocol' that the Royal Family and working royals follow. The clip, which has been shared on TikTok, has rapidly picked up interest online with many comments reflecting on the moment from 2019 when Meghan was still a 'working royal' and a member of the Royal Family officially alongside her husband Prince Harry.
They later stepped down as senior royals in January 2020, with the couple making a statement that they would "no longer be working members of Britain's Royal Family".
