Here's when the PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2023 games are confirmed
The PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2023 games are set to be officially revealed by Sony later this week, here's the exact time you can expect the announcement.
PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will find out what PS4 and PS5 games will be arriving as part of their subscription later this week. The PS Plus Essential October 2023 games included the gruesome horror title The Callisto Protocol and the supernatural western Weird West. Because of this our PS Plus Extra predictions for this month include the possibility of a horror title arriving, such as Resident Evil Village.
Other predictions from us include the indie classic Hyper Light Drifter and its pseudo-sequel Solar Ash. We could also see Assassin's Creed Valhalla make its way to the service as it's one of the few remaining Assassin's Creed games not available on PS Plus.
While there haven't been any PS Plus leaks for this month's Extra and Premium offering from the usual suspect, an eagle-eyed user on Reddit's GamingLeaksAndRumours Subreddit noticed The Last of Us Part 2 featured on a PS Plus banner on the PlayStation Store. While not a stereotypical horror game, The Last of Us Part 2 has its share of gruesome and horrific moments across its 20+ hour runtime, so it would certainly fit the bill for an October release.
PS Plus Extra and Premium reveal time
The PS Plus Extra and Premium games reveal time is set for Wednesday, October 11 at 4:30pm BST / 11:30am EDT / 8:30am PDT; the games will be revealed on the PlayStation Blog by Sony at this time. The games featured will then be available to download the following Tuesday, October 17 at 10am BST / 5am EDT / 2am PDT. PS Plus Extra and Premium are announced simultaneously via the same blog post, so you'll be able to find out what's coming in each subscription at the same time.

While PS Plus Essential games rotate every month, with the new batch replacing the previous months, PS Plus Extra and Premium titles will remain a part of the subscription for the foreseeable future. Titles leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium are announced at the same time as the lineup is announced, with most titles getting a year as part of the subscription at least.
