Kansas City Chiefs president shares feelings on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift
Mark Donovan, the President of the Kansas City Chiefs, believes that the media attention surrounding tight end Travis Kelce and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift does not influence the team's culture or its commitment to achieving success on the field.
In a recent interview with People, Donovan said, "Travis [Kelce] is a smart team player. He can handle it [extra media attention] and has been very professional. Our locker room has the maturity, leadership, and respect to handle it."
Following the team's practice on Friday, Kelce emphasized that his relationship with Swift has not affected his football performance. He stated his commitment to staying focused on the game, citing his ability to compartmentalize and maintain a clear, ego-free mindset when in the football building.
Speaking to ESPN, Kelce acknowledged the challenges posed by paparazzi capturing photos from various angles but also recognized the attention that comes with dating a megastar. He emphasized the importance of learning and appreciating the box-office moments that arise in his life.

"It's worldwide, man. Everybody is having fun with it. I know I brought this to myself. I have been fortunate enough to have fun with it, and that's where all that really matters is that it's not [ticking] anybody off, over here at least."
Donna Kelce is very conscious of the public's interest in her son's personal life and is fiercely protective of him. While there is no official confirmation of a relationship between Travis Kelce and Swift, there has been much speculation after the pop star was spotted attending two of Kelce's football games soon after he gave her his number but fumbled it.
Recently, Donna was promoting her limited-edition snack, Donna's Purse Snacks, and found herself in the spotlight when she was seen sitting with Swift at NFL games. "It's unreal," said Donna to CNN. "I tell everyone that it is kind of like an alternate universe that I just happened to be in. Like I went through a third wall into another dimension, that's what it feels like."

Due to the relationship, the tight end's jersey sales have reportedly soared to a 400 percent increase as reported by Fanatics, and his "New Heights" podcast also soared to No. 1 on Apple, co-hosted by his brother and Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce.
The Chiefs will play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in an away game at U.S. Bank Stadium. After attending Kansas City's games against the New York Jets and Chicago Bears, it is unknown if Swift plans on being in attendance in Minnesota.
Following two sold-out "Eras Tour" dates in Minneapolis earlier this year, the city had already experienced the significant economic impact Swift brings. Additionally, the NFL benefited from her presence, as nearly 27 million viewers tuned in to last weekend's Chiefs-Jets game, making it the most-watched Sunday show since the Super Bowl.
