Inside Strictly Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson's love nest with hidden room

Strictly star Zara McDermott is determined to stay in the competition so she's working her socks off in training.

Despite the Made In Chelsea star and documentary maker failing to win glowing reviews on her dance floor performances with professional partner, Graziano Di Prima, the 26-year-old has won an army of new fans with her determined attitude and efforts. But she is finding this is taking a toll on her life outside the ballroom as Zara is spending 11 hours a day rehearsing for the following Saturday.

This means she is missing time with Sam, who is a Radio DJ who has an evening show on Hits Radio. Zara has said that with Sam not around when she gets home, she is practising her steps with their cats Albus and Cedric in the stunning £1million home the couple share, The couple moved into the house right next door to Sam's sister, Louise Thompson.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine Zara said: "Our bathrooms are right next to each other. My nephew's bathroom is right next to my dressing room bathroom so sometimes I'm like, 'Are they having bath time?' We are so lucky, we're so privileged and Sam's mum lives on the road behind us so we're all in a little triangle." The couple's kitchen has huge island with in-built sink and a trio of pendant lights that hang above it. It matches the extremely chic herringbone flooring.

The pair have managed to work with their garden, despite it not being the biggest size, with sun loungers for when it does become summer. The bathroom is what Zara declares their dream, it's unique ribben-free standing bath look likes it could belong in a five star hotel. The couple took their creativity to new heights after turning the basement into a snug cinema. The luxurious space has a massive screen with a cosy sofa, cofee table, a fake plant and a book for the aesthetics.
