Premier League's dullest home grounds with Man Utd and Chelsea fans infuriated
Chelsea sit joint-bottom in the Premier League when considering results from 2023 - and fans at Stamford Bridge have also watched the most boring football in the division.
The Blues have won just five of their 29 top-flight matches during this calendar year, picking up 28 points in the process. That is the same as Everton and below every other side that have played in the Premier League 27 times or more, with the relegated and newly-promoted clubs out of the question.
But at home, the Chelsea faithful have been far from entertained throughout. In fact, Stamford Bridge is the most boring stadium to watch football, with that being the only ground to have less than two goals per game, with an average of 1.75 goals per game this season.
Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park and Everton's Goodison Park complete the top-three most boring grounds in the Premier League, via a study from BritishGambler.co.uk before this weekend's matches. Meanwhile, Manchester United's Old Trafford is the seventh least exciting on that list.
As for the most entertaining, Arsenal's Emirates Stadium sits top (3.94). That is not a surprise given the number of thrilling matches involving the Gunners at home, including 3-2 wins over Man Utd and Bournemouth last season, that 3-3 draw with Southampton and recent four-goal thrillers against Fulham, Man Utd and Tottenham.
Marcel Sabitzer completes Man Utd transfer after last-minute deadline day dash
Brighton's AMEX Stadium is second, while Manchester City's Etihad Stadium lies third. Again, neither is surprising given the Seagulls are prime entertainers under Roberto De Zerbi and Pep Guardiola's City can score for fun at home as they secured their third successive Premier League title.
This study does not read positively for Chelsea and they are back in action when they travel to Fulham. Mauricio Pochettino's side have a damning injury and suspension squad issue, with up to 11 players out. Speaking ahead of the game, Pochettino said: "In all of the clubs, important players you always miss when they don't play.

Always we miss top players, no? They're top players. When they are at their best, of course, they are some of the best in the world. I think all the teams would miss important players.
"You are talking about why not sign another Ben Chilwell and Reece James? Because there is only one Reece James and one Ben Chilwell. I think the club tried with Malo Gusto, Marc Cucurella, also Levi can play there. That is football. In all football clubs, when you have top players, it is difficult to replace."
