Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insisted that his team had played in the "most unfair" game as they lost to Spurs. Klopp hailed his team for their performance in that adversity, but blasted the standard of officiating.

"I was never more proud of the team than today. I never saw a game like this with the most unfair circumstances, crazy decisions. We scored an own goal, that is really tough to take but I am really proud," he said..

The first red card, Curtis steps on the ball and goes over. Not a bad tackle. It looks different in slow motion. The offside goal. That is not offside when you see it, they drew their lines wrong. They didn't judge the moment when Mo passed the ball right. It is so tough to deal with it."

Liverpool sent evidence of mistake

Liverpool have been sent evidence of the referee's dreadful error during their defeat to Tottenham. Presenter Richard Keys presented a photo that proves Luis Diaz was onside, with beIN Sports drawing the lines that VAR didn't.

Keys and pundit Andy Gray drew a line to prove that Diaz was onside. "There you go," said an astonished Gray. "He's at least a metre onside."

Keys then asked: "Why didn't Darren England at VAR take his time to look at that? I do not buy that it keeps the game moving. It's absolute nonsense." Gray responded: "It shouldn't take any time. We can see by the naked eye that it's onside. It's obvious. The goal should have stood."
