Tess Daly's 'unreal' look praised - but Strictly fans spot unusual accessory

Tess Daly wowed Strictly Come Dancing viewers on Saturday as she sported a blue suit with "stunning" blow out for the second live show, but fans couldn't help but notice one unusual accessory.

Tess wore a luxurious Reiss blue suit and she paired the striking look with a matching tie draped around her neck. One viewer tweeted: "I love Tess’s gorgeous velvet suit…#Strictly," while another said: "Tess’s hair is STUNNING #strictly."

A third commented: "Tess’ BLOW OUT, she looks unreal #Strictly." Someone else added: "This blue velvet suit might be my favourite Tess outfit ever. Claudia as always divine #strictly."

However, one baffled viewer compared her white shirt and black tie look from week one and wrote: "Tess has clearly got a bundle deal of ties for the series that she's not planning to tie up. #Strictly." Another asked: "What’s with Tess and another tie thingy around her neck? #strictly," while a third agreed: "Is tess going to wear that same outfit in a different colour each week? I do hope so #strictly."

Meanwhile, hosts Claudia and Tess opened up on the "joys" and "challenges" they face fronting Strictly. Tess revealed: "The biggest joy for me is that this is a live TV show. It’s such an adrenaline rush. I love that it’s completely authentic and anything could happen at any given moment.

"I absolutely love watching the audience faces as they react to the routines in the studio. And it’s talking about it with everybody I meet and being a part of something that feels authentic and special. The biggest challenge is probably running up the stairs and across the studio at speed in stilettos! My calves do not thank me the next day!"

Claudia added: "Just being part of this show is a total joy. I know this might sound revolting but it is a family and we can’t wait to all be back together. Crew, production, hair, make-up, the pros and Dave Arch. My husband, we love to get back together…. The biggest challenge is walking in heels."
