Travis Barker issues health update during Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy

As Kourtney Kardashian nears the end of her pregnancy, Travis Barker reassured fans about his current health status.

Earlier this week, he posted a picture of a positive COVID-19 test which meant he had to keep his distance from his wife. COVID-19, according to the CDC, is particularly dangerous to pregnant women. At the time, though, he didn't reveal just how bad his health truly was. Today, the drummer tweeted: "Last week I had covid, an episode of trigeminal neuralgia, and a root canal. Which means I can pretty much handle anything god throws at me."

His poor health comes not long after Kourtney's own scare. After cancelling some shows abroad, Travis returned to the states for a "family emergency" without much more context. Later, it was revealed what was happening back home.

After arriving back in Los Angeles, Travis and Kourtney were spotted leaving the hospital together. While the 'family emergency' was never confirmed to be directly tied to Kourtney's health, a source did give an inside scoop on how she was doing. They told People: "She is feeling better."

Travis was able to return to the road, meeting up with his band Blink-182 to finish off shows on this tour run. In another tweet, though, he explained that wasn't necessarily easy for him, either.

In 2008, he suffered serious injuries in a plane crash which saw the plane’s two pilots and two of its four passengers killed instantly.

As a result, the drummer has developed a fear of flying. He told his fans: "I still hate flying. I love touring and playing music but I unfortunately associate traveling and flying with death. I am strong and nothing can keep me from living life though."

While Kourtney's health seems to be fine, recently it was revealed that the health of her family dynamic may not be. Recent episodes of The Kardashians feature a tense fight between Kourtney and Kim where they appear to be having a massive falling out. In fact, Kim even admits that the family has a group chat called 'Not Kourtney'.

The drama of the show was filmed months in advance, but still, sources say that Kourtney's relationship with the family continues to be unsteady. An insider told Heat Magazine: "[Kourtney's] family have always been welcome when she gave birth, but now she's saying she only wants Travis there, which of course has Kris pretty annoyed."
