Influencer and Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has been the victim of mum-shaming comments on her social media once again, but this time her fans have leapt to her defence.

The time reality TV star, who became a mum to daughter Bambi earlier this year, was shamed by comments after she appeared child-free during a work trip to Paris. Molly-Mae shared her whirlwind trip to Paris on her social media, as she revealed she was away for a single night. However, it left some critics asking where her infant daughter is, and accusing the star of being a 'part-time parent'.

In a post that Molly-Mae shared from Paris Fashion Week for the Christian Cowan Womenswear catwalk show, she explained she was enjoying her time in the French capital as she wrote: "Paris for the night". Alongside this, she shared Instagram Stories and snippets of herself getting ready for the "special quick trip".

Yet mum shamers couldn't resist the chance to criticise, as one commented on her post: "Who takes care of your child? Part-time mom for sure." Another shared: "Literally aha, at this point I was not even surprised she had left her child again." Yet loyal fans of the Love Island star leapt to the defence of the mum of one. One fan responded: "Tommy? Family? She’s out working providing for her family – what’s the issue?"

They also wrote: "You know mothers work too, right?" Another clapped back: "Bambi could be in Paris with her. She has to travel for work. Calling someone a part-time mum just isn’t nice at all. No wonder so many mums get mum guilt because they are constantly shamed. We get enough criticism – we should be building each other up, not taking each other down."

Another fan slammed the comments as they pointed out that Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae's fiancé, wouldn't have been subject to the same comments. One wrote: "OMG let her live. Would you say this to Tommy when he’s away at a training camp? Does that make him a part-time dad?" Molly-Mae has often been targeted by mum shamers in the past, and even during a recent trip to New York. Whilst enjoying time away and sharing snaps on her social media, many fans questioned why she was on another holiday.

"Question is why do you go on holiday so much?” one follower asked, prompting a furious debate in the comments. “Do you miss Bambi? you barely mention her when you’re away,” a troll commented on one of Molly’s NYC posts. Again fans leapt to her defence as one responded: “Question is: why not? Why shouldn’t she?” Another added: “Because she can and she will if she likes but if u follow her u will no it’s work."
