Emmerdale fans forced to double-take as Moira Dingle unveils 'dramatic' new hair
Emmerdale's Moira Dingle certainly caused a stir during Tuesday's episode of the ITV soap.
The character left viewers stunned as she unveiled a glam new makeover, sporting a brand new hairdo. Viewers called the new look "dramatic" and "such a change", as she debuted her new look in the latest episode. It certainly won viewers over, with many sharing on Twitter how much they loved her new shorter hairdo.
Moira has had different hairstyles over the years, but more recently her locks have been longer and often tied up in a ponytail. On Tuesday, she looked very different with her long locks chopped in favour of a much shorter hairstyle. The glam new look even got the attention of Moira's brother Mackenzie Boyd, who was quick to comment on it.

Another said: "I'm liking Moira's new hair do," as a third added: "Ooer Moira has a new 'do'." The comments kept on coming too with one reading: "Love Moira’s new haircut," as another said: "Moira’s has a new hairstyle." It comes amid a dramatic time on the way for Moira and her family, as Mackenzie is set to be caught up in a deadly car crash. Soap star Ash Palmisciano exclusively told The Mirror that the dramatic stunt would involve Mackenzie and his partner Chloe Harris, as well as other fan favourites being caught up in the storyline.

He told us at the Inside Soap Awards 2023: "There's a big accident in the village with Mackenzie and Chloe, there's a big car crash. It's not as straight forward as you think, there's hidden things that have gone on. There's things that happen after the accident which does unfortunately impact Matty and Amy's relationship, but I can confirm they are very strong and they come together."
