A woman has shared her amazing technique for folding up fitted bed sheets in seconds

There are few household chores more frustrating than trying to fold a fitted bed sheet. As such, we are always on the hunt for clever ways to help in our quest for neat and tidy bedding. And now we're completely obsessed with a new video showing a simple and speedy way to fold our sheets.

A new 16-second clip shows a woman revealing her very efficient method which begins with her picking up the two bottom corners of the sheet. She then pushed the corners inside the corners at the top, tucking them inside. Next, she brings the side edges into the middle, so that they neatly meet, before also folding the bottom third of the sheet up to the centre. She folds again before folding the top third over the top of the whole sheet - which is now a long, thin rectangle shape.

Finally, the lady - who appears in the video on X shared by a user with the name Tansu Yegen - folds in the two ends slightly, before folding over one for a second time. She finished by then tucking the sheet in on itself - and voila! Viewers had plenty to say on the hack. "I both love and hate these sheets," one admitted. "Nice tip though!" A second added: "Great tip I never knew how to fold fitted sheets I just curl it!" A third said: "It's always a tussle to fold these fitted sheets! This looks cool though!"

Others were a little more sceptical. "& I'm still gonna bunch it up and fold it" someone else admitted. Another confessed: "I'm sure I will still end up with a fight on my hands! cool tho." While a different user added: "I'm still so confused!"

It comes after a woman shared her unusual hack for changing bedsheets - and she really divided opinion! X user wrote: "I don’t know who needs to hear this but you can put two or three fitted sheets on your bed at a time and just remove the top one when it’s dirty instead of always folding them and putting them away."

The post attracted almost 15,000 likes and people had thoughts. Some were very much against it, with one replying: "So apparently you don’t sweat when you sleep? Like ever? Ewww girl you sleeping in old grime..." Another said: "Dear God I hope you are joking. This is disgusting. Do you layer your underwear too?" A third simply commented: "Ok but... sex?!"
