Alison Hammond blushes over impromptu marriage proposal live on This Morning
Alison Hammond said "yes" after an impromptu marriage proposal while live on This Morning. She was presenting Friday morning's episode alongside Dermot O'Leary when she received the unexpected offer mid-interview.
One guest tried their luck after declaring their love for the TV presenter, telling Alison she was "so hot" before popping the question. Alison and Dermot were joined on the sofa by football team Brentford Penguins.
Spearheaded by former Brentford player Allan Cockram, the squad is made up of boys and girls with Down's syndrome aged five and over. Striker Louis decided to take his chance while the cameras were rolling, telling Alison: "I just love you."
Alison said 'I'm married' on Friday's episode of This Morning (ITV)The youngster said: "Do you live in Tennessee?" Alison then replied: "No I don't live in Tennessee, why?" He told her: "Because you're the only ten I see." He went on: "You are so hot, I just love you. Will you marry me?"
Alison quipped: "Awww, you’re so lovely," before she and Dermot burst out laughing and said it was "amazing", with Alison adding that they'll need to "chat later". She thanked them for coming in he said: "You are so hot I just love you. Will you marry me?"

Alison shouted: "Yes!", prompting her to add: "Aww you're so lovely." The sweet joke comes after Alison admitted getting "cold feet" at the thought of marriage, but now wants to meet someone and get married after "getting to the age".
Speaking to Gyles Brandreth on his Rosebud podcast she said: "I think as soon as I hear the word marriage, I get cold feet. I think I’m just one of those people. I always think there’s something better but get a bit nervous to know 'that is it'.
"I just feel like I'm tied down and I don’t like it, when really and truly I’m getting to that age now where I think, 'Alison, let go – it’s OK to settle down'." Alison also clarified that she was never married to the father of her son, Noureddine Boufaied.
She was in a relationship with the cab driver in the early 2000s and fell pregnant with Aiden, 18, three years later. Alison continued to Gyles: "A lot of people think I've been married… I've never been married... It was the perfect time but I don’t feel like we were ready.
"[Noureddine] had the most beautiful smile and that’s what I fell in love with… Aiden’s got that smile as well. I absolutely love my own company. I have no problem with being on my own. In fact, I really quite like it."
