Woman vanishes on mystery road trip after lying to boyfriend about show rabbits
A woman has vanished in the middle of a mysterious road trip with 11 show rabbits - after telling her boyfriend she was going to California.
Gwen Brunelle, 27, claimed she was meeting a man who judges 'show rabbits' for rabbit shows, for training, when she left her home on June 26 - but the judge claims there were never any plans for him to meet Gwen. She stopped at a gas station in Jordan Valley, Oregon, 100 miles southwest of her home in Boise, Idaho, before disappearing. Her car was discovered near Succor Creek, a remote area 17 miles north of Jordan Valley. Gwen’s 11 rabbits were discovered and a bathrobe was found folded next to the vehicle - but there was no sign of the missing woman herself.

Gwen was last spotted at a service station in Jordan Valley (findgwen.com)But a new clue was announced last Friday which could help track Gwen down. Her family shared the new clue on a website which is dedicated to searching for her. The update read: "We found... one of Gwen’s t-shirts hanging on a barbed wire fence more than one mile southwest of her car."
A major search effort involving nearly 50 of Gwen’s family and friends on September 10 led to finding the t-shirt. Another search expedition has been arranged for this weekend including the authorities - and the family believe finding the recent clue will help give leads in the new search.

Riders on horseback explored areas further to the north, and ATVs drove several miles of roads and jeep trails off Succor Creek Road as well as trails east of Highway 95. We also had four trained dogs and handlers courtesy of Mountain States Detection Dogs exploring portions of Succor Creek as well as other locations."
