Kane hails Bayern Munich team-mate he claims people "don't appreciate"
Harry Kane has hailed 'underrated' Thomas Muller as he named the Bayern Munich forward as one of two team-mates who have impressed him the most following his big-money summer transfer.
Kane, 30, joined Bayern from Tottenham for a club-record £86.4million fee in August and he has since scored five goals in six appearances, including one against Manchester United on Wednesday. The England striker struck from the penalty spot as Bayern ran out 4-3 winners over the Red Devils at the Allianz Arena.
Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Mathys Tel also struck for Thomas Tuchel's side as they secured all three points in their Champions League opener. Bayern have won three and drawn one of their four Bundesliga matches this season and currently sit second behind Bayer Leverkusen on goal difference.
When asked about who has impressed Kane during his six weeks in Bavaria so far, the ex-Spurs frontman selected one youngster and one experienced campaigner. Speaking to TNT Sports, Kane said: "Jamal [Musiala] has been fantastic. There's been a lot of talk about good he is and how young he is.
"He's been great to watch in training and in tight areas how he moves and how he plays forwards. He's been fantastic to play with so far."

"Thomas Muller, how intelligent he is. People from the outside sometimes don't appreciate these types of players who are just one step ahead in the brain compared to the rest of the team," Kane added. "Overall I think we've got fantastic players all around the pitch and that’s the exciting thing being at a club like this. We're still finding our way a bit in terms of what the coach wants but when it clicks we can be a really hard team to stop."

He scored an impressive 16 times in 47 matches last season, and although he has failed to find the net this term, he did set-up Gnabry's strike against United.
As for Muller, the forward is undoubtedly a Bayern legend. The 34-year-old came through the ranks in Bavaria and has won every major honour available to him during his time at the club, including the Champions League twice. Muller has scored 235 goals in 671 appearances for Bayern.
Kane was quizzed about his side's performance against United and believes Bayern controlled the match. He said: " It was a crazy finish, but I think for the majority of the game we controlled the tempo. We went 3-1 ahead and then we lost a bit of concentration in the last five minutes and thankfully we were able to hold on to the lead, but overall it’s a good start to the campaign against a tough side."
