'My girlfriend breastfeeds me - it tastes like cow milk but sweeter'
A man has revealed how he and his girlfriend have been enjoying an adult nursing relationship for several years after she induced lactation. Taking to Reddit to share details of their unusual arrangement, the 23-year-old man confessed that his partner had first attempted to produce milk as a natural way to increase the size of her breasts.
He wrote: “We met in our first semester at university at a mutual friend's house party and became really good friends. Like legit best friends. After a while, she told me about her unique ability. She told me that she could lactate.”
According to the 23-year-old woman, she managed to do it by massaging and pumping her breasts five to six times a day, for around 15 to 20 minutes. He went on: “It came as quite a shock to me but I wanted to be a supportive friend so I asked questions and was happy for her.
“A few weeks later we were hanging out and were tipsy and she said she needed to go pump. After she did she came out and asked if I wanted to try it. I can't lie I was very curious and was tipsy so said yes. I ended up trying it and really loved it so I told her how good it was.
“She replied by telling me that she has nothing to do with it so I could have it whenever I wanted. That's how it started as I then ended up taking advantage of whenever we would hang out she would bring me bottles of her milk. So throughout university, I had her breast milk basically every day.”

Fast forward to now and the friends are dating and still enjoying the very intimate beverage. He finished: “We have both done our very best to keep this a secret as the only other person who knows is her best friend who was her roommate during university. But we both wanted to get this off our chest and see what people would think.”
Naturally, people were very curious about how she had managed it without being pregnant and how she’d kept it going for so long. The 23-year-old man was more than happy to answer questions, revealing he often drinks “from the tap” and that being breastfed was part of their sex life. Another person asked what the milk tasted like, to which he replied: “It’s quite similar to cow milk but sweeter! Kind of like the milk left over after a bowl of sugary cereal. It’s very good.”
Other people weren’t quite as convinced, with many accusing the man of lying about everything and calling it weird. However, there were those who confirmed that induced lactation is possible and had enjoyed it themselves.
One person wrote: “It’s not any weirder than it is normal to drink cow milk as human adults in our society. I could see why you’d want to keep it a secret though, most people might not understand. What it boils down to is simple, it’s her body so she can of course do whatever she wants to, inducing and maintaining lactation and she consents to giving it to you. I don’t see anything wrong here but considering the general public’s reaction to anything different I would still keep this on the down low.”
According to Alyssa Schnell, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), lactation is possible without pregnancy. Writing on the La Leche League website, she states: “The only necessary component to induce lactation - the official term for making milk without pregnancy and birth - is to stimulate and drain the breasts. That stimulation or emptying can happen with baby breastfeeding, with an electric breast pump, or using a variety of manual techniques.”
