Jonathan Ross spotted with wife as Russell Brand Sachsgate scandal resurfaces
Jonathan Ross stepped out for a relaxing stroll with wife Jane Goldman after his notorious scandal with Russell Brand resurfaced online. The 62-year-old smiled as he headed out on the dressed-down walk with his spouse of 35 years.
The TV talk show host wore an all-black outfit, clutching his mobile phone as he emerged following allegations against former co-star Brand. The comedian has been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse – which he vehemently denies. Four women spoke out in the documentary to make allegations of incidents between 2006 and 2013.
Ross worked with Brand at BBC Radio 2 back in 2008 before he was suspended following an incident which has since come back into the spotlight. The pair caused uproar after making a prank call to Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs, leaving a vile voicemail. Brand had reportedly slept with Sachs' granddaughter, something Andrew didn't know.

While Brand clarified: "But it was consensual and she wasn't menstrual, it was consensual lovely sex. It was full of respect I sent her a text, I've asked her to marry me, Andrew Sachs."
The incident sparked thousands of complaints and became known as Sachsgate. Later in the show, Ross said if listeners were offended, they were "crazy". After more than 40,000 complaints and Sachs saying he was horrified, Brand and then controller of Radio 2 Lesley Douglas resigned, while Jonathan was suspended.

The BBC was fined £150,000 by Ofcom after admitting editorial standards had been broken. Brand has since been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse – which he denies, and there is no suggestion Ross had any idea of any of the claims and is not in any way linked to them.
Four women spoke out in the documentary to make allegations of incidents between 2006 and 2013, including a 16-year-old he is alleged to have dated when he was 31. Now a fifth woman has come forward claiming she was sexually assaulted by the comedian in 2003.
Brand and Ross left the voicemails back in 2008 (BBC)London's Met Police have confirmed the woman has filed a police report and urged anyone else who believes they are a victim to come forward. In a short statement, the force said: "On Sunday September 17, the Met received a report of a sexual assault which was alleged to have taken place in Soho in central London in 2003.
"Officers are in contact with the woman and will be providing her with support. We first spoke with The Sunday Times on Saturday September 16 and have since made further approaches to The Sunday Times and Channel 4 to ensure that anyone who believes they have been the victim of a sexual offence is aware of how to report this to the police."
After recent allegations, Russell Brand issued a lengthy statement, including his denial: "What I seriously refute are these very, very serious criminal allegations. Also, it's worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narrative that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack.
"Now, I don't wanna get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I'm being attacked and plainly they're working very closely together. We are obviously going to look into this matter 'cause it's very, very serious."
