Only 'sharpest mind' can solve mind-boggling brainteaser designed for kids

It's beneficial for everyone to challenge themselves to a brain teaser every now and again. Brain teasers can help stimulate a child's cognitive abilities, as well as improving their ability to stay focused on one task. They also challenge them to think outside the box.

But that doesn't mean it's not beneficial for adults to do them too. Working on puzzles reinforces connections between brain cells, improves mental speed and is an effective way to improve short-term memory - something we all need in abundance.

Below you'll find a brain teaser which was designed with children in mind - but that doesn't mean it's easy. According to OutdoorToys, only those with the 'sharpest minds' can solve the puzzle - so is that you?

Can you spot the rollerblades?

The image you see before you is a scene many parents will be familiar with - a load of toys spread everywhere in a garden. Your task is to find a pair of rollerblades which are hiding within the toys.

This brain teaser is particularly tricky as you can't just do a quick scan of the scene - you'll have to focus your attention on each area of the picture, as it's easy to miss. Can you find it? Take a few minutes out of whatever you're doing so you can concentrate fully.

If you need a hint, concentrate your mind on the lower half of the image - more specifically to the middle. This is your spoiler warning, as you're about to see where the rollerblades are located.

Here they are!

You can find the rollerblades just to the left of the trampoline, hiding behind toy box, near the bucket and spade. Don't worry if you weren't able to find it - each time you try to challenge yourself it will get that much easier.
