Vanuatu’s central bank has revoked the international licence of Pacific Private Bank (PPB) following an OCCRP and 15 min investigation, which revealed how the founders of Lithuanian crypto-finance firm Bankera acquired and used the institution to siphon funds from their investors.

Initially a standout in Lithuania’s cryptocurrency industry, the Bankera digital coin raised tens of millions but has since seen its value plummet.
