Russell Brand has been removed from his agency websites after denying 'serious' allegations put to him.
The comedian, 48, took to YouTube last night ahead of tonight's mystery Channel 4 Dispatches show, saying his 'transparency regarding his promiscuity' has been 'metastasized into something criminal' – but didn't go into detail about the allegations put to him in a letter and email. Following his denial and ahead of the Channel 4 documentary tonight, Russell's PR firm MBC PR and talent agent Tavistock Wood no longer advertise Russell as a client on their websites. However, it's understood MBC PR still represent him.
The Mirror has contacted Russell's reps for comment.
The Get Him to the Greek star - also known as Rusty Rockets - issued a lengthy statement last night, which he shared on YouTube to deny 'serious' and 'criminal' allegations, which he didn't specify, but claimed are a 'co-ordinated attack by the media'.
Russell insisted this wasn't the type of video he usually made, before adding he had received an "extremely disturbing" letter and an email from a newspaper and television company. Addressing the camera, he said: "I've received two extremely disturbing letters or a letter and an email. One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn't be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.

"But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
"Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I'm being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play?"
The My Booky Wook star is yet to comment further on the allegations, but he is due to perform his stand-up comedy show, Bipolarisation at the Wembley Park Theatre in London this evening, with doors opening at 5.30pm and the show kicking off at 7pm. The gig is described as: "Rules and rule breaking! Democracy and freedom! We reach conclusions from mass confusion by polling the live audience. We want to hear YOUR opinion. After amassing a movement of 25 million people across his digital channels, the Community festival and the live show Stay Free; the cultural and political commentator and award-winning British comedian is back on stage."
