Arsenal made sure they remained top of the Premier League on Saturday with a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Leicester City.

The Gunners earned all three points thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's second-half goal. Leandro Trossard thought that he'd put Arsenal ahead in the first 45 minutes before VAR ruled it out and forced Mikel Arteta's side into a much more difficult afternoon at the King Power Stadium.

There was briefly a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League, only for Manchester City to smash Bournemouth 4-1 in an empathic response. Now the Gunners head into Wednesday's game in hand at home to Everton in a bid to give themselves a bigger cushion, as they target a first league title in 19 years.

Here's a round-up of the latest news from the Emirates.

Wright slams "phenomenal mistake"

Arsenal were denied a penalty during their victory over Leicester in what Ian Wright has labelled a "phenomenal mistake." Bukayo Saka was bundled over in the box by Foxes centre-back Harry Souttar, but referee Craig Pawson refused to point to the spot in what was a frustrating afternoon of officiating decisions for the Premier League leaders.
