Dimitar Berbatov makes Premier League predictions including Man Utd and Arsenal
Dimitar Berbatov has tipped his former club Manchester United to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal before the international break by beating Brighton 3-2.
Berbatov warned the Red Devils they "need to wake up" and start getting points on the board having won just two of their first four games this season. "Man United have suffered against Brighton before," he told the Metro.
"If they are not careful, they will suffer again. I like the way Brighton play football, with their passing and their use of space. Yes, sometimes, they get beaten like against West Ham where they have loads of possession, lots of shots and still lose.
"Man United need to wake up, as before you know it, the season will be nearly over. They need to get points on the board. I think United will win, but if they don't, the gap with the top teams will get too big."
Berbatov is also backing another of his former clubs, second-placed Tottenham, to continue their excellent start to the campaign by beating Sheffield United 4-0. North London rivals Arsenal, meanwhile, have been tipped to drop points against Everton and draw 1-1.

"Arsenal play good football, and Everton need to be clever against them," he said. "If they do not have the quality to match Arsenal, they will have to try and beat them physically. They will have to bully them a little bit.
"Everton used to have strong players, back in the day. Players who you would not want to play against, who would use their elbows flying around. They need to use their strong sides, even if it is ugly.

If Everton continue the way they have done, they will not have a good season. However, it may come as a surprise, but I think this game will be a draw."
He also tipped Chelsea to draw 1-1 against Bournemouth, criticising their "really poor" start under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, while defending champions Manchester City have unsurprisingly been backed to beat West Ham 3-1.
Berbatov has also predicted Liverpool to beat Wolves 2-0, Aston Villa to beat Crystal Palace 3-1, Fulham to beat Luton 2-0, Newcastle to beat Brentford 2-0 and Nottingham Forest to beat Burnley 2-1.
