The Royal Family appear to have snubbed Prince Harry on his 39th birthday, as they decided against sharing public tributes to the Duke of Sussex.
Each year, members of The Firm have taken to social media to share pictures and special messages for Harry on his birthday. Even after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family, the tributes continued.
When Harry and Meghan first moved to America, the official Twitter account for the Royal Family shared an image of the late Queen Elizabeth II standing next to a smiling Harry. Meanwhile, Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton shared pictures of them racing Harry at a 2017 event for their Heads Together campaign.
However, this year the Royal Family have stayed quiet. PR expert Kieran Elsby believes the awkward snub is down to "unresolved tensions" between Harry and his family.

Usually, they have used social media to convey their birthday wishes, yet this year, they have avoided from doing so.

"While it's likely possible that they have privately extended their greetings to Harry, the public snub is hard to ignore and raises intriguing questions about their relationship dynamics." Kieran also suggested that the absence of a birthday tribute suggests "a certain level of public distancing."
The PR expert added: "In an era where even private matters often play out in the public eye, the lack of a public birthday message is a significant statement. Whether intentional or not, this public snub adds to the ongoing narrative of strained relationships and unresolved tensions within the family."

The Duke of Sussex is currently enjoying himself at the Invictus Games and even went on a night out with wife Meghan on the eve of his birthday.
The couple enjoyed an evening of booze and local food at the Im Goldened Kessel restaurant on Thursday. They treated their aides to the night out and also posed for pictures with staff at the eatery.
The couple were all smiles in the pictures, which shared on social media by the restaurant's owner. Sharing the snaps on Facebook, Thea Ungermann wrote: "So proud! Impressed by very friendly people Who enjoyed our Schumi Alt, Haxe Wiener Schnitzel, blood sausage and German sausages."
