Shoppers say £15 mascara is 'witchcraft' after it was called 'life changing'
A social media influencer has been left speechless by a £15 mascara available on Amazon that's been hailed as "the best mascara I ever used in my life" by shoppers. Content creator and mental health advocate Mik Zazon shared a video earlier this week in which she was seen taking off tubing mascara for the first time - and was visibly shocked by the ease at which it came off.
The Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara, which is available on Amazon for £13.99, is made with flake-free tubing technology, to dramatically lengthen your lashes, and promises clump and smudge free lasting wear, which is a 'game changer' when it comes to mascara.
The influencer captioned the video: "To all my emotional and overstimulated girlies - you can cry and rub your eyes and it doesn’t smear, clump, or run. It also doesn’t require makeup remover to come off. Just warm water. But it also doesn’t come off if you swim so i don’t know what this sorcery is... This is the thrive causemetics liquid lash extension mascara!"
Shortly afterwards, Mik's comments were flooded with messages of both revelation and applause, with many sharing their experience with it and their favourite tubing mascaras too.
Lottie Drynan, a British fashion and lifestyle influencer whose bloat-friendly wardrobe has garnered her a huge following, simply said: "WHATTT" in disbelief, while another follower wrote: "THIS IS WITCH CRAFT AND I LOVE IT."

Another, who wasn't as new to this brand as Mik, added: "It’s my holy grail for this reason!!!"
A fourth added: "Not to be dramatic but this mascara changed my life".
While it seems the Thrive mascara is new to Amazon for 2023, Mik Zazon's followers have also suggested L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara as an alternative, which is £16. And shoppers are "convinced [they've] found the best mascara ever" with it.
One wrote: "I love this mascara it’s the only one that doesn’t smudge! Item came quickly and in perfect condition."
Another said: "Best waterproof mascara I've found for years, it's totally amazing!".
For mascara lovers after an even better bargain on mascara like this (with tubing technology) Beauty Pie's Wrap Star mascara is back in stock and on sale for £10 (down from £25). If tubing isn't essential, we recently tried out Benefit's new mascara Fan Fest (£25.50) and, it exceeded all expectations.
