Dillon Danis told Logan Paul has "resurrected" his career ahead of boxing fight

Dillon Danis has been told by Jake Paul his career was "resurrected" by the opportunity for a grudge fight with his older brother Logan.

The Bellator MMA star has been out of action since the beginning of 2019, but despite being in the fighting wilderness has never been too far from controversy for his social media antics. And his comeback will now be one of the year's biggest fights when he faces the elder Paul brother in Manchester on October 14.

Danis has long had a feud with the Paul brothers, but has taken it to a brand new level with his incessant mocking of his rival's fiancee Nina Agdal in the lead-up to fight night. And the YouTube star's younger brother believes that his trolling of Agdal, for which he has been slapped with a Temporary Restraining Order, is tapping into a darker subsect of internet users.

“He was dead until you resurrected his career," Jake told his older brother Logan during an episode of his podcast Impaulsive. "He makes jokes but it’s largely in part that he’s exploiting Nina. There are so many hurt males out there that can’t get girls like ‘Yeah, f*** girls, I love what Dillon is doing’.

"Our society, culture and young men are so hurt. They are addicted to porn and they have no way to interact with girls. They are texting them getting rejected, it’s a never-ending cycle. Now they are finding a way out to unleash their hate through this insecure male who is clearly a very hurt person."

Danis has garnered over two billion impressions on Twitter and added over 400,000 followers to his social media with his constant verbal attacks on Paul and his fiancee. But last week he was hit with a $150,000 lawsuit by Agdal alleging that he made hundreds of posts containing "vulgar and disparaging pictures, memes, and comments" about the model.

Danis took to social media to aggressively respond to the filing, which was reported by TMZ last week. "Nina Adgel [sic] has filed a massive lawsuit against me," he wrote. "She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking."
