Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seemed to be in very high spirits as they mingled with members of the crowd at the Invictus Games, even joining in with an impromptu sing-along.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were filmed watching the swimming finals in Dusseldorf and got into the spirit of things as they waved their hands from side to side while clapping and singing along to the karaoke classic Sweet Caroline. The Sussexes were all smiles as they let their hair down at the event.

Harry, who wore a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, pointed his fingers in the air as he bopped along in time to the music. Meghan beamed as she also had fun dancing along in her seat.

The actress had changed into a stylish black outfit and tied her hair up, having earlier worn a chic pair of white shorts and matching blazer. Meghan and Harry will also be watching the wheelchair basketball game later this evening.

Meghan and Harry have been enjoying the Invictus Games events throughout the day, after the Duchess of Sussex joined her husband in Germany last nights. Watching a wheelchair basketball game earlier today, Meghan hugged one fan before she and Harry were seen dancing along to the music ahead of Australia taking on Ukraine.

They also happily posed for selfies with spectators. After the match, Harry and Meghan mingled with schoolchildren, who took part in a sporting race, and handed out medals to them.

Meghan arrived in Dusseldorf yesterday after flying in from Los Angeles with a brief stopover in London. She was reunited with Harry as the pair made an appearance at an event hosted by veterans organisation the Fisher House Foundation at the Invictus Games.

At the event, Meghan said it was very "special" to her to have arrived in Germany to be with them all. She added: "I'm really, really proud to be part of this Invictus family with all of you. I'm grateful for all of you that are here."

She also explained the reason for her delayed arrival. Speaking at the family and friends event, she said: "I just had to spend a little more time getting our little ones settled at home, putting milkshakes for their school drop-off and then I just landed a couple hours ago and I am thrilled that the first event that I can do for Invictus is here with all of you, it is amazing and I hear the week so far has gotten off to a good start is that right?"
