Apple has launched four new iPhone models for 2023 – a new standard iPhone 15, larger iPhone 15 Plus, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. These all-new smartphones start from £799 and max out at £1,599.

To save some many shoppers put the new handsets on their shopping lists which deal is the best to go for? As shoppers weigh up which of the four shiny new models is the best suit for them we've been taking a look at prices to see just how much customers can get for their money, including how long the devices will take to be delivered.

They're not the only flagship devices to be added to retailers' stocks as the newest Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) with a USB-C port are up for grabs too.

As pre-orders open don't miss these iPhone 15 deals:

  • Vodafone iPhone 15 prices start from just £18

More than seven UK retailers have followed Apple's lead and launched pre-orders on the new iPhone 15 range, including Sky Mobile, EE, O2 and Vodafone - to name a few. So for shoppers, it'll likely be a tricky feat to know which one is the best to go for.

At first glance Vodafone offers the cheapest monthly rate, starting at £18 for the standard iPhone 15. However, the price will immediately go up to compensate for data, which is on top of the handset price. Which is where we get onto our next favourite spotted deal of pre-order day, it's technically not the cheapest (when you only consider the handset) but it works out more for your money with data.

And that's Sky Mobile which is offering the standard iPhone 15 from £26 a month, and data contracts on top which just happened to be halved in price thanks to its current offer. That means you can get double the amount of data for half price as seen below.

Sky's iPhone 15 data deals:

  • 8GB for the price of 4Gb at £8 a month
  • 20GB for the price of 10GB at £10 a month
  • 60GB for the price of 30GB at £15 a month
  • 100GB for the price of 50GB at £20 a month
  • 150GB for the price of 75GB at £26 a month

    • From £33 a month at Sky Mobile and there's no upfront cost

Shoppers with their eyes on any of the two iPhone 15 Pro models may have noticed the huge jump in upfront costs when it comes to ordering. EE asks for £30 upfront, Vodafone has a £49 upfront cost and Three has £50 -£60 upfront depending if you choose the 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max.

All apart from Sky who offer the iPhone 15 Pro from £33 a month and no initial fee, on a £24 month plan for the handset. Of course, as highlighted above its data is currently half price too.

When will my new iPhone 15 model be delivered?

This is the question on many new shoppers minds and as the soaring demand has proved, some shoppers may face delays.

The above order photo was during the initial September 22 pre-order day, where the iPhone Pro Max had a wait time until 9-16 of October. However, that time is slowly getting longer as demand towards Christmas soars. Amazon, O2 and Vodafone currently all have lengthy wait times, especially the Prime retailer shoppers who will only get the device on December 19 (if they order NOW).

    UK deals

As you can see above new iPhones and Apple Watches weren't the only devices featured in Apple's launch, and we could see individual UK retailers add it in as a pre-order incentive.

As our list above shows it's not the only place eager shoppers will be able to get their hands on the newest Apple iPhone. Last year networks offered up cheaper monthly rates on the iPhone 14 for those who pre-ordered a device.

If you want to go for a UK provider there are some which are known for offering extra incentives, and will likely do so with the iPhone 15.

Virgin Media for example slashed its initial upfront fee on the handset, a potential we'll see with the upcoming iPhone 15. Three offered a cheaper rate for pre-order shoppers for the first six months as well as up to £870 off the price when shoppers traded in an older handset.

Shoppers at O2 can expect to find Disney+ thrown into its iPhone 15 monthly deals, as it usually offers up to six months free on new device pre-orders. It's another perk that was seen Samsung's recent Galaxy Z Flip5 launch too.

    Apple trade-in and upgrade programme

Current Apple shoppers can get up to £630 off a new iPhone depending on the model they hand over, which can be seen on their trade-in page here. Another service the tech brand provides that's aimed at dampening the cost for shoppers is its iPhone Upgrade Programme.

This lets Apple users split the cost of the newest device across 0% monthly payments, a more affordable way for shoppers to get a sparkling brand-new device each year. For the newest iPhone 14, you'd currently pay £46.45 a month with an initial upfront payment of £69.

As soon as you reach 11 payments you'll be able to upgrade to the new iPhone. So taking it out around the iPhone 15 launch may be one of the best times as your upgrade will fall in line with the newest iPhone launch each year. You can read the full T&C of Apple's Upgrade Programme, here.
