My Mum Your Dad viewers predict 'awkward' twist and 'drama with the parents'
My Mum Your Dad viewers reckon there's "drama" en route as they predict an "awkward twist" after Tuesday night's episode on ITV. Dubbed ' Love Island for the older generation', viewers can't get enough of the series fronted by Davina McCall.
Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, avid telly watchers couldn't help but share speculation of upcoming "rows between the kids". Tuesday's episode saw two of the grown-ups leave the lavish country estate for a date on the water.
But it wasn't the challenge viewers were posting about, it was the kids and how things could soon turn sour between the group. "It's gonna be so awkward between the kids if there is drama with the parents #MyMumYourDad," one said.

They have to watch their parents try to date (cringe) but also have to be diplomatic with the other kids, not saying what they really think about how their parents are behaving."
"It’s fascinating. #MyMumYourDad," they added. While a third commented: "Can see some rows with the kids over their parents #MyMumYourDad." Davina is helping eight singletons - four men and four women - look for love.

The twist? The contestants are all middle-aged single parents wanting a second chance at love, and have been nominated by their grown-up kids. The new dating ITV dating show launched on Monday night and will air every evening for two weeks.
Viewers have already been left in tears after Roger shared details of his wife’s heartbreaking death during the first episode, but many have been distracted by the stunning luxury mansion and gorgeous interiors.
Two left the house for a date on My Mum, Your Dad (ITV1)The house is reported to be worth more than £8million, and is located in the picturesque Surrey countryside, near west Sussex. It boasts 45 acres of land, two swimming pools, a gym, sauna and hot tub, as well as tennis courts and breathtaking views.
Davina has been keen to dispel any comparisons of the show to Love Island, and has been overjoyed to be given the chance to front a show that featured people her age. "It was like a dream come true to walk into an entertainment TV show, on prime time ITV, and see my people, a bunch of mid-lifers," she told The Sun.
"I wanted to see midlife as represented in terms of dating because this second time around thing often happens in your forties or fifties, where you’ve got children… life is complicated."
Your Mum, My Dad continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.
