Logan Paul and Dillon Danis took a break from their heated trash-talking during their face-off to shake hands on a rematch in the cage after their boxing fight.
The YouTube star holds a considerable advantage in boxing experience and size over Danis, which has made him a massive favourite for their October 14 grudge fight, which has been marred by an ugly build-up. But that advantage would be significantly diminished if they headed to the fighter's primary sport, where he is undefeated with two first-round finishes in Bellator.
Danis was one of the world's most renowned Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts in the world when he made his debut in the cage in 2018, but injuries and other issues have cost him four years of his career. He makes his return to fighting at the AO Arena in Manchester when he faces Paul, and wants another fight in the cage after the fact.
Paul and Danis went head-to-head at a press conference in London last month, with the pair also taking part in a 'Face Off' segment for DAZN which was released this evening. In it, Danis asked Paul "Why do you not want to do MMA? As well as declaring that the pair were offered a larger purse to compete under the Bellator banner.
"Dillon, check this out," Paul proposed during one of his speeches. "You're obviously a scumbag, you're obviously a piece of s***, but I'll tell you what. If you show up to this fight October 14, I will rematch you in MMA." The pair immediately shook hands, before Paul went back to the well by calling his rival a "scumbag, piece of s*** dirty f***ing a******."

In a later part of the 21-minute sitdown, the black belt asked Paul "Why didn't you fight me in MMA?" When his rival responded "What?" Danis responded "Why did you do boxing? The Bellator bag was bigger than boxing, I'm talking about in the beginning when we were going to fight Bellator offered you a bag to fight me in MMA."
Paul, whose beverage company Prime is a main sponsor of the UFC and whose brother Jake is a part-owner of the PFL, declared that he's "not going to fight with Bellator." He then claimed that Danis was forced to pay his promoter $100,000 from his purse in order to be allowed to compete against him on Misfits Boxing, which airs on DAZN; a rival network to their broadcaster Showtime.
