Prince Harry may have belated birthday party as day is 'tinged with sadness'
Prince Harry will be turning 39 on Friday, but one PR expert has suggested the Duke of Sussex will delay his birthday celebrations.
Harry's birthday falls on September 15, just two weeks after the anniversary of the death of his mother, Princess Diana. At just 36 years old, Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997. She was involved in a fatal car crash in Paris alongside her companion Dodi Fayed, while their driver was fleeing paparazzi.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, PR expert Mayah Riaz suggested Harry might struggle on his birthday. "For Harry, his birthday falling in September is tinged with sadness. It's not long after the anniversary of his mother's death and funeral. Then more recently with his grandmother's death and funeral," she said.

The Sussexes were spotted dining at the Tre Lune restaurant near their home in Montecito. They were pictured leaving the Italian eatery, which is popular among celebrities.
Harry and Meghan were joined by a group of friends including Meghan's close pal Heather Dorak and her husband Matt Cohen. Tre Lune is "dedicated to consistently delivering authentic Italian cuisine", according to its website.
Speculating about how Meghan will treat her husband on his birthday, Mayah suggested she might get him a "meaningful" present, as opposed to an extravagant gift. "I imagine it’s tough to buy presents for a Prince. Meghan’s birthday present to Harry is likely to be something thoughtful and meaningful, rather than a flashy gesture," she said.
