After weeks of rumours and endless speculation Apple has finally revealed its new iPhone models and there are plenty of headline-grabbing features that could make you want to splash out and rush to stores to bag an upgrade. Just like previous years, there are numerous options to choose from including the standard iPhone 15, bigger iPhone 15 Plus as well as the more expensive iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
All These call makers have just been unveiled during the firm's "Wonderlust" event at its HQ in Cupertino and Mirror Online has made the trek to California to bring you all the news live. Here's what's new.
New iPhone 15 (APPLE)The new Apple iPhone 15
Let's start with the standard iPhone 15 (6.1-inch) and bigger iPhone 15 Plus (6.7-inch) models which both get a boost to their performance thanks to the inclusion of the A16 Bionic processor. That chip powered last year's Pro models and is now coming into the entry-level range for the very first time.

This processor boost means the iPhone 15 is now much faster than the iPhone 14 which will be especially welcome for those who love gaming on their phones or editing 4K movies on the move.
Another feature that was only available on Pro models before is the clever Dynamic Island. This update, which first appeared last year, transforms the black notch at the top of the screen into an interactive display that constantly adapts depending on your usage.
So, when iPhone 15 users listen to music, the Dynamic Island will show what's being played, set a timer and you'll see how long is left or even see which gate your flight is at via this ever-changing mini screen.

Other changes to this device include a new and more seamless design that looks like one piece of flowing glass and there are new colours for 2023 such as Blue, Yellow, Green and Black.
Those who love snapping images on their smartphones should get much better photos for their family albums thanks to an upgraded 48MP main lens. This not only offers faster focus but also better photographs at night. You can even add portrait-style Bokeh effects after images have been taken.

Finally, there is better connectivity which can help you find other devices from further away. This can be used to track down AirTags and friends who share their iPhone's location.
So, that's the iPhone 15 but what about the Pro and Pro Max models?
As with previous years, the biggest upgrades to Apple's smartphones arrive on these more expensive machines with both the Pro and Max now featuring tough titanium edges rather than the stainless steel finish found on the iPhone 14.

This not only improves durability but also makes them a lot lighter in the hand - in fact, Apple says these will be the lightest Pros they have ever made.
Next, there's a boost to the screen which now gets much slimmer bezels meaning more space for your content without the display getting physically bigger.
Lineup of the iPhone 15 Pro phones (Apple)An A17 Pro chip comes tucked inside for an ultimate speed boost and users should find the battery life is improved thanks to better efficiency. This power also makes gaming much more impressive with owners getting console-style graphics on the phone in their pocket. Games like Resident Evil Village and Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be coming to the phone in the coming weeks, so you can play PS5-quality titles when you leave the house.
Although Pro seems the way to go, those wanting to show off to their mates will probably want to opt for that new Pro Max gadget.
This super premium device adds a more pixel-packed camera which can now shoot better close-ups thanks to a larger sensor and 5X optical zoom. Image stabilisation is also boosted so there's less chance of wobbles and shakes when posting those Instagram shots. Apple is promising that this camera set-up is its most professional upgrade ever. In fact, the firm says that through a deep integration of hardware and software, the advanced camera systems on the diPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max both pack the equivalent of seven pro lenses
Another new addition is the Action button - that's a feature first added to the Apple Watch Ultra last year. It's fully customisable and lets you launch things such as the torch, camera and more with a single tap.

A new way of charging
One thing that all new iPhone 15 users are going to need to get used to is a new way of refilling the battery.
Yes, all of the rumours ahead of the release were true with the latest batch of call makers from Cupertino switching from the famous Lightning port and switching to USB-C.
Although it means all those previous cables will no longer fit the new phone it does mean one lead can now charge Apple's MacBook, iPad and smartphone which means packing fewer accessories in your bag.
USB-C will also offer slightly faster charging than before which will be great news for anyone who is constantly running low on power.
If you opt for the Pro models, the USB-C port offers quicker transfer speeds.
What about the price?
Those buying the iPhone 15 will pay the same as last year with things starting from £799. Pricing for the 15 Pro begins at £999 (£100 cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro) with the Pro Max costing £1,199. Apple is offering trade-in deals to help cut things down a little and all these new devices can be pre-ordered this Friday.
